We're located in South Brisbane and in walking distance to bus, train and ferry services. Our main entrance is on Raymond Terrace.

Watch our video to see where our main entrances and car parks are, and where to catch public transport.

Taxi

We have free taxi phones on levels 1 and 2. The taxi drop-off and pick-up area is outside the main entrance on Raymond Terrace.

Bicycle

We have bicycle racks at the Stanley Street and Raymond Terrace hospital entrances.

Driving

If you're driving, find out where you can park, how much it will cost and if you can apply for discounted parking.

Free public transport

Some families may be able to get free go Event travel cards. These are for unlimited travel on Translink buses, trains and ferries for 3, 5 or 7 days at a time. Free Airtrain tickets to Brisbane Airport are also available.

Visit our Patient and Family Travel Hub to find out if you can get free travel. We’re in the Family Resource Centre on level 2 and open Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5 pm.

Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme

If you have to travel more than 50 km to your local public hospital, you may be eligible for the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS).

The PTSS helps patients with travel and accommodation costs if they need to use specialist medical services that aren't available in their local area.

You can read more about the subsidy scheme or find out if you're eligible on the Queensland Government website.
